Gay New York Where are the best places to go?

I am traveling to NYc with my partner & am wondering were are the best gay places to go? Bars or Clubs or sites; Not into uptight people so friendlier places would be nice. Any info would be appreciated; yes comedy clubs work also. I want to exsperiance all that the NYC gay scene has to offer;

If you`re looking for gay-friendly restaurants, just walk along 8th Ave. in the west teens & 20`s. There are plenty, as well as more bars.

Edit: There are no exclusively gay comedy clubs, but(!) you`ll have a great time at these 2:

P. S. Gym Bar`s clientele is mixed, you`ll find as many 20-somethings as 30-somethings. the main reason I added it is the atmosphere & staff are very friendly. It`s not your typical Chelsea `scene` bar. Rather, it`s NYC`s only gay sports bar

serenity 		Any part of the Village; My grandmother is gay & she is there all the time; I haven`t been to any clubs, but(!) you can search it up on google very easily; My uncle came here from Ohio [Hes gay also] with his friends & went to a couple of them.

twinklover 		gym bar is 30+;

i like the ritz in hell`s kitchen. it has a small outside patio (u can go out & talk/see people in better light), & an upstairs, which is chill
