Would it surprise you to learn that gay men & women are welcomed at most nudist resorts?

I`m talking about the family oriented resorts that are sanctioned by the American Association for Nude Recreation ; not the swinger clubs or gay only resorts. Many children are raised in nudist resorts. We actually have school bus stop out front of ours; It does not offend me in the least. may be I worded question wrong, my idea was that there may be many that haven`t gone to family resort because they thought they would not be welcomed, when in fact they are welcome. I was trying to get the word out that to that effect; Sorry if I offended anyone, that was not my intent at all; & my comment about the children was in response to an answer that said they didn`t think children were allowed in nudist resorts;

mensexonly 		only place I know of that doesn`t welcome Gays is Hedonism in Jamaica. Lesbians are tolerated, but(!) apparently any form of openly gay activity will get you kicked out.

Not fair, but(!) whatcha gonna do

gopbol 		It`s no surprise, as the whole point of nudism is acceptance for people as they are. I`m not gay, but(!) I`ve always found it to be refreshing how open gay people can be there

serenity 		I have been a nudist since I was 18 & have been a member of AANR.
I am also gay & have been since I realized what it was when I was about 13 or 14.

I was introduced to social nudism when I was 18 by my (then) bf who I met over summer break before my freshman year of college; We both moved in to work over summer break & met & hit it off. He told me straight off that he was a nudist which I thoght was pretty cool. I had skinny dipped with friends in high school & he explained how it wasn`t any different really. He told me his entire family, including his grandparents were nudists & that he had been raised that way.

The first time he took me home to meet his family was about three weeks later. I decided `when in Rome` & with him, got undressed when we arrived; I was so surprised when he introduced me as his bf & how accepting his entire family was of me & of us. I was also surprised at how natural it felt to be nude & how nobody leered at anyone; His brother & sister were, along with him, the least judgemental people I have ever met. His Mom & Dad had no visible stress & everyone got along so well.

Jonathan & I moved into the same dorm room shortly after that weekend & lived as nudists in our dorm. We did not wear clothes in our room under any circumstances. Other people knew that we were nudists & nicknamed us `The nude dudes` but(!) they were all cool with it. We both were considered good friends & good listeners to those who knew us & we were accepted; Both of us worked as models for fine art department & it was a totally amazing, positive experience;

I have found being nudist to be 1 of the best experiences of my life. It feels good to be sure, to have the sun & breeze on your body & to enjoy nature, naturally - but(!) the warmth & friendly acceptance of others is beyond compare. Nobody cares about how perfect your body is or isn`t - you are accepted & welcomed imperfect as we all are; Frankly I think the rest of society could take a lesson or 2 in the happiness & positive acceptance found in an AANR resort & people there

There is no reason why they shouldn`t be allowed.

I don`t understand if you are saying that gays or lesbians should not be allowed because there are children present; Which means that you are profiling ONLY gays & lesbians as pedophiles;

Why should straight men & women be allowed when children are present? There are more cases in which straights have abused children than gays. How many female school teachers have had affairs with students, or even had children by their students recently?

serenity 		Why ? People don`t have the word `GAY` written on their face lol I mean if it`s a nudist resort, then it`s for everybody. & btw, gay people aren`t more perverted than anyone else, so family resorts or not. & btw, I don`t think kids are allowed in nudist resorts
