gay resort?--- where to go what to expect?

I`m a bisexual male in my early 20`s---want to relax & meet other guys ----Are gay resorts a good choice?

twinklover 		No man, those places really aren`t that great if you`re new to this. I`ve lived in nyc all my life (i`m 24) but(!) I didn`t venture to fire island (gay beach) until two years ago & even then, I went with all straight people because most of my friends are straight. If you come to place like nyc, it`s gay or gay-friendly everywhere you go. In this town, you NEVER know who is or isn`t; Check out chelsea, especially 8th ave from 14th to 23rd streets; Go to the bars there, it can be intimidating but(!) if someone finds you attractive, smile back! Good luck!

gaykerk 		Possibly. You might consider going to a large City & renting a room in the gay area; Chicago is nice. the only reason I don`t say going to gay resort is that on occasion, especially if you are Bi, having nothing around but(!) gay can actually become a tad boring after while, you might want to do something else that doesn`t have sexuality as it`s basis or focus.
I`m gay but(!) honestly that is not end all be all of my existence. I like museums, shopping, hiking, ect. & while doing them in a gay friendly area might be nice, I don`t want my experiences to be completely focused on the gay aspect of life. Variety really is the spice of life. While I love chocolate, I wouldn`t want it for every meal, understand what I mean?

gopbol 		My experience at gay resort, most people come as couples to relax & unwind, they don`t seem to be looking for `hook up`; It was pretty exciting watching naked boys swim though, you might be able to get in on a threesome, but(!) you likely aren`t going to get a satisfying relationship out of that contact. Try a gay cruise
