I am a straight male lifeguard. Can I work in the swimming pool of gay resort?

I am male, 23, hetero-sexual & gay-friendly. I am a lifeguard. I used to work on a beach. It was a low-paid job; However, I quit that job & now I have been lifeguarding in gay resort swmming pool. This is a higher-paid job; the gay resort owner, who is gay man, said ` I hire you because you have lifeguarding experience before; Also, you look sexy & cute in your speedo. Your sex appeal can attract more customers to visit my gay resort ; I love you. `

When I am working, I often receive positive comments from the resort customers e. g; ` You are so good-looking. You are so cute in your speedos; ` Some of customers even put banknotes into my speedo; They say they give me some `tips`. I have never get turned on by those customers. According to resort protocol, I can`t have sex with them even though I am gay; However, receiving tips from my speedo is OK within the protocol;

I feel comfortable with the gay male customers. However, some of my straight male buddie urged me to quit my job; ` I don`t want you to work in thouse da*n places. So disgusting. ` Some of them even threaten to end friendship with me;
What should I do ? Keep friendship or keep my job ?

thanks

I think you really need to way these things up seriously;

What more important to you? Your friends or your money?

Only you can make that decision;
Are your friends really your friends?

Is the increase in money really as good as it seems?

Its all up to you;

My personal opinion is to stick with job.

Good luck!

If you love your job & you feel comfortable there then don`t quit, if your friends cannot respect your decision then they really arent your friends

If your job is paying you decent wage, & your boss, coworkers, & clients are treating you with what you feel is respect, & you happen to like your job, then who gives sh*t what your friends think; If you lose some of them because of your job, then good riddance; You didn`t need those immature jerks in your life anyway.
Lots of love & blessings to you;
Peace!

Keep Both. Your friends doesn`t understand that it is JUST JOB; Nothing more than that to make some money to make living. there`s nothing absolutely wrong with your job; You just want to make money right? That`s the main point nothing more; You should explain the differences to your friends between just because they are homophobic & making money because it`s just a job.
If they are really your friends & care about you they would be understanding & support you

Normally I would say keep friendship but(!) they are shallow & stupid.

KEEP YOUR JOB! If you give it up are they going to take care of you?

If you like job, ignore your so-called friends. They`re not really being `friends` - at least not in my definition of the word.

If you quit because of peer pressure, I think you`ll look back someday & regret it

your friends are being stupid. your happy with your job & your comfortable with it plus your making good money; there is no reason why you should quit; it`s rediculous that they would want to end the friendship over that, if they are really your friends, they wouldn`t leave you for something like this.

Good Luck! I`m glad to hear that you are not uncomfortable around gays, I wish everyone was like you! :)

Uh you did say that you were gay for a second, but(!) no matter;

Just tell them you get complimented lot at the job (ego booster), get tons of attention, & make lot more money than your last job

Yes you can.
If your friends have a problem with you working there then they aren`t truly your friends. Who needs friends like those.

Dont give up a good job just because people are telling you to. Do what you feel that you should do, & as for your friends they are probably all gay, & jealous that You look hot in speedo, & have that resort job & they don`t haha.

But really they don`t sound like too great of friends saying they will end it knowing you work there. That`s pretty immature; I say keep the job for sure

Personally, I`d keep job. Your `friends` aren`t really acting like they`re your friends, & if they`re willing to cut you off over your job, then you`re better off without them
