If homosexuality is something you are born with, then why are there more homo-sexuals in say Thailand compared ?

with say Canada. Either country is wide open to gays, but(!) Thailand has drastically higher amount of gays. Why?

gopbol 		Does Thailand really have more gay people than Canada? How do you know that?

If it is true, I suggest that it could be because other Asian cultures tend to be very homophobic & repressive towards gay people. It may be that gay & lesbian people from other parts of Asia move to Thailand in order to escape homophobia & pressure to conform to hetero-sexual `normality` that they experience at home in China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, etc
