Why are there so many gays in Thailand ?

In my class, there are 6 boys but(!) 5 of them are gays. I`m the only 100 % boy in my class !
Also if you go to places in Bangkok, you will see plenty of gays there & that`s hirrible; 70 % of Thai people are women & rest are men but(!) nearly 50 % of Thai guys are gays. What in the world is going on !?!
It seems keeping increasing number of gays now a day in Thailand.
What exactly happened to them ? AW2, do some reaseach before you blew it;
Have you been to Siam or somewhere around before ?

twinklover 		don`t really know & that would be stereotyping them may be they are gay cause they want to be

torogay 		Probly becasue the thiland government has done very little in preventing child prostitution. It is the child prostitution capital of the world!

FYI, just because they are gay does not mean they are not boys
