Travelling Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia & Thailand. Lesbian Couple?

Hi. obviously we doooo look gay, oh well so we are told & presumed. are we going to have any problems off locals; we can be touchy feely & of course culturally it could offend I guess. but of course we would show respect. any experiences. thanks so much.

gaykerk 		well if You at big city or town then should be ok. especially in the club; culture aceptable in Malaysia thaialnd & singapore. indonesia then I not so sure

twinklover 		As long as both of you don`t overdo things, you should be fine. Last year, Malaysian government enacted a law to bar Muslim girls from wearing tomboyishly in public but(!) it remains just a law till today without any implementations. I believe you are non-Muslim, so you are excluded from this law; Gays & lesbians are common sight in Thailand, therefore showing your affection towards your partner in public shouldn`t be any problem at all; In Singapore & muslim majority country like Malaysia & Indonesia, a little touchy is still alright but(!) if you over do it, probably people will just stare at you but(!) they won`t do anything to harm you

gopbol 		as far as I am concerned, you shld b fine. i assume your partner & You wld go for nature-centric places such as beaches, islands & waterfalls. so most of these spots have chalets & hotels;

most malaysians wld jst stare bt keep quiet bcoz they dun really knw hw to deal with this :-) 2b safe tho, behind close doors is the way to go. hwever, if You want adventure n danger rolled into one, go island hopping @ the many islands in langkawi & redang; most islands r uninhabited, & u`ll get to enjoy each other`s company intimately without fear of audience *grin*

hv fun & if dere`s deal sealer with rgds to m`sia, do come for the food; u can exercise the calories off after

gaynudist 		Do what you want & like in private ; but in public places, you do not fit in, & will get looks & stares., but I suppose you are used to it, & will not feel offended. the public are used to these sights; but(!) the religious authorities [ and local government] in some states in Malaysia may think otherwise.
[the practice of gayism & lesbianism are illegal or restricted in these countries. ]
