Open Question

Uncomfortable around others ?

I'm young and need advice from someone on a problem I'm having. I'm not openly gay because all the gay people I've met are very 'flamboyant' I think the word is and I just don't like them. I know not all gay people are like that but I've haven't met one that isn't yet. And the one gay person I told seemed to only want to talk about being gay and pretty much all things gay which I just never feel like talking about. I guess I'm just scared that the moment I become open people are only going to talk to me about it and the last thing I want is for my sexuality to become my personality. I just want people to act how they usually do around me and talk to me about things that we would usually talk about.
