Is it embarrassing to be a Male Nurse?

I was thinking of getting into the medical field, may be as nurse or a doctor. I have a friend who is (gay) btw, he is doing nursing right now, & all his classmates seem to be female; I am now having second thoughts. I mean sure it would be pretty sweet being surrounded by hot female nurses, but(!) then again. it seems like a woman`s job.

Also on the TV show scrubs they make fun of male nurses;

Can I get some input on this subject, or if you`re male (straight) nurse I`d love to hear your answers;

torogay 		Hell no,i think the ladies love a man who is a nurse I`m not but(!) if I had the chance I probably would but(!) yeah like I said the ladies love a man with ambition especially when it cxomes to medical field

serenity 		There is no such thing as a `woman job; ` If you find happiness in job, then you might as well do it. I mean who cares what other people think? It`s about you, not someone else & if someone can`t be nice to you because of your career choice, then ignore them. All that matters is You & what you want to do. Don`t let some dumb distraction block your path.
