Women with crush on gay guy friend?

We have been friends since highschool & he used to have a crush on me, but(!) I`m not sure if he still does. but(!) now that we are older I think he is possibly gay. Sometimes he holds my hand, flirts & gives me compliments; How do I know if he is gay for sure. Should I tell him how I feel? I`m afraid he will tell me he is gay.

mensexonly 		If he is gay there`s not much you can do about it. I mean if you tell him you like him it would make things awkward for sure especially if he is gay

charliegay 		Politely sit him down, tell him you`ll be his friend regardless & ASK HIM! If he`s gay, he`s known for longggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time. Probably since he was a kid, so ask;

Regardless of what he says, accept it;

If he isn`t, then at another time, when your together tell him how you feel.


BUT, if you don`t want to do this. get some gay friends & ask them, or walk up to a gay guy in the street,

serenity 		Why are you afraid that he`ll tell you he is gay? If he`s gay, then obviously your crush is pretty much going to go nowhere; Better to be rejected now than to hold onto it when it`ll never happen. & who knows, may be he isn`t gay & you guys can be together forever.

Trust me, it`s better to go for it than to be scared of rejection. the pain of rejection lasts but(!) a few days, but(!) the pain of never having tried lasts your entire life

if he `blew` up in your faces when confronted, that sorta tells me he may be gay but(!) nowhere near ready to come out & tell his friends yet. If a straight guy was confronted as being gay, typically they do not blow up like that; When people respond like your friend did it usually means party confronting him was right & he is so shocked & embarrassed you all know that being outwardly angry & upset is good diversion to change the subject or to make you believe he really isnt gay;

You will always be his friend. Also, you never know. He may be bisexual. You probably do not want to hear that either but(!) look at good news. You have a wonderful friend who thinks the world of you; Don`t pressure him. Just be there for him like he is there for you;

Sometimes, friendships are a much stronger bond than lovers

gaymentop 		Ask him if he`s gay, then if he says he isn`t, you ask him if he`s attracted to you; If he`s gay hopefully hopefully it`ll work like having married friend- his unavailability will make you less attracted to him,

charliegay 		Just ask him out & if he says he is gay well then he is gay but(!) if he is flirting I highly doubt he is; Find place where you 2 can go without friends (not necessarily alone though, concert maybe) & see where it goes
