How do I know if my friend is gay?

Well first off I`m gay. I have a HUGE crush on my best friend; He is dating a girl & they are all over each other; but(!) he hugs me at least twice a day, we brush out legs against each other while sitting together, he puts his head in my lap, we stare at each other, he picks me up all the time, & he has climbed on top of me. I am in grade 8. Is he gay or straight. & if you think he is how do I tell him?

gaykerk 		I have very similar probelm, except I`m bi; Anyways, it sounds to me like he`s either bisexual or just bi-curious, or may be he`s just in the closet gay & the gf is just a cover up. Best way to find out? Just ask him

gaykerk 		He has girlfriend & they`re all over each other - he`s straight or bi, or may be (i doubt it) he`s using her as cover up for being gay;
So either he`s gay or bisexual & he likes you, or he`s straight and he is joking around. does he know your gay?
well after he & his girlfriend break up may be just come out to him (if You haven`t already) & later if he keeps giving hints then ask if he is gay
