Getting to California`s gay community, Help please!?

I was looking at taking a solo trip to states in July. I am a straight male but(!) I have thoroughly enjoyed the companionship & generosity of my gay friends here in Canada. Not only is California`s gay community world reknowned for nightlife(which I love) but(!) the historical aspect of it also drives me to visit. I am in a relationship with a female (it`s a little rough right now) but(!) I truly desire to have a marvelous vacation. I was wondering, is anyone from the gay community, or others (such as Toronto`s Church Street District) wanting to show somebody around your city/town? Gay/Straight/Lebian whatever doesn`t matter to me. I want to find someone looking for some good times, memories, & friendship; I thank you to all who read, & to trollers. what are you trolling about here? I have kept my contact information secret, only because of weirdos on the internet, but(!) if it is possible, please leave comment if interested, OR have any good ideas/plans; I like planning this trip by ear.
