What Christmas gift should I get for gay guy?

Okay, I am a lesbian myself. My gay straight alliance club at my school is doing a secret santa.
I am really confused on what to get him minaly because I don`t know him too well. We aren`t suppose to spend over 10 dollars but(!) I don`t mind going over little; Everyone was suppose to write any idea of what they wanted on a paper, but(!) all he did was write his name, leaving it completely up to me. Any ideas on what I should get him? Thanks. :)

gaykerk 		gift card to a store that has lots of various thing is probably your safest bet. If you want something more personal you could always ask his friends what they think he would like

gopbol 		Get him a set of nice pencils like ones with different kinds of leds like hb, 2b, h1, ect. idk if that`s what there called but(!) you get idea. they don`t cost much & you can say that you thought he needed a pencil since he didn`t write anything

gaynudist 		Just get him a gift card. Or ask everyone `What do you want for Christmas?` because then everyone will think you have them.

We`re doing it in my Preforming Arts program but(!) we`re not allowed to because of `religious` reasons so we`re calling it secret turtle; lol;

I would stick with plan b since you can ask him & he wouldn`t know, ALSO a gift card is like the `Idk you, here`s a generic gift`

Okay, now honestly, ask some of his friends what he likes; Strike up conversation with him, & see if you can get any hints about what to give him.
What is he like? Does he seem to be a jokester? Get him a gag gift. Is he an artist? Get him a few pens. Is he a nerd? Get him a barnes & noble gift card.
If you don`t know what to get him, I bet he wouldn`t mind some home-baked cookies if you have any skill at cooking. Or friendly card you drew, or generic gift card for someplace you can get a lot of stuff if your really lost
