gaymentop 		I don`t know if homosexuality is natural, from nurture, or just something cooked up by religion. If it`s the third option, we should probably ban it

God does not approve homosexual unions, they are an abomination in the first place

gaynudist 		In the christian sense, yes it is a sin for couple to divorce. Also it is against christianity for a gay couple to even marry so divorce would be out of the question. I personally am sick of religious fanatics shoving their noses into other people`s business. Not everyone expects that their marriage is going to fail when they get married & there`s no sense in staying together when you are unhappy

gaymentop 		We first need to allow gay people to marry, before we can condemn them for divorcing. As it is, they can just walk away from a relationship, no alimony, no child support, no expensive divorce lawyer, no court appearance, just change the beneficiary on the life insurance & in will, & you`re home free. Hey, anybody else out there wanna become gay? may be you want to join now, while there`s no membership fee or annual dues

serenity 		since gay couple cannot marry in the eyes of God, they cannot divorce either. but(!) they can stop sinning by parting;

Divorce is sin for married couple, but(!) if there has been infidelity, or abuse, it is permitted

serenity 		Scripture allows divorce in case of adultery; if 1 partner has been unfaithful, the other is permitted, but(!) not required, to seek divorce.

Same-sex marriage is recorded in the Hebrew text of the OT (see link below); It wasn`t treated any differently than a hetero-sexual marriage, so we can only conclude that the same divorce rules apply;

While divorce for reasons other than adultery may be a sin, we should remember that sins can be forgiven. So divorced people aren`t automatically hell-bound

gaykerk 		Divorce between man & woman is called adultry, & is a sin. `Thou shall not commit adultry. ` Because it is a sin: God intended for man & woman (if they choose to marry) when married to be trustworthy & loyal. Which means not cheating on your wife/husband mistreating them & ect. You have a long time in life to choose the right man/woman to marry & stay with until death do you part; a lot of teens & adults as well think they`re in love & will marry to soon, then they end up with someone who they really aren`t happy with. That`s why people should take their time in deciding who to marry & when. Now the gay people? That`s a another story. Being gay & all is sinful in the first place, getting married to same sex is worse & can get worse. If God had intended it to be that way, he would have created Adam & Steve, or Eve & Eva. Now most people will use the same exuse over & over: `Well I can`t help it, it`s just the way God made me. ` WRONG! Just because you`re like that doesn`t mean you should act upon it! It`s like, you know not to act upon your emotions when you`ve `fallen in love` with your highschool teacher! Not saying that would be sinful, but(!) it would be weird. I know alot about this, because I`m Christian & know what I say is right. Now here`s my question. How old do you think I am? What`s your guess. 25, 30, somewhere in my mid forties? Actually, you`re getting this from a 15 year old girl; Surprised?

mensexonly 		Well; depends on your definition of sin.

To most. SIN is a separation from God;

IF God was involved in union of their marriage. if Marriage IS convenant & IF the couple believes `what God has brought together, let no man lay asunder`

THEN, it would follow that a divorce is type of separation or `sin` to God, regardless of reason or if it is hetero-sexual or homosexual.

RIGHT?

However, if couple sees marriage as simply a civil union. then it is hard to see anything in marriage as a sin; since Marriage is not convenant.


Lastly, I`d say, at the very WORSE; a gay couple divorcing is just as bad as a hetero-sexual couple. or no more worse, but(!) equal.
At the very BEST. if you don`t consider SSM valid. then since their marriage was not valid to begin with; then at best; they have committed no sin by divorcing;

RIGHT?

So it ALSO depends on one`s definition of a `valid` marriage; RIGHT?
