How hard is it for a gay couple to adopt a child?

planning on getting married in Iowa & i`ve always dreamed of having children. How hard is it to adopt a child? is it harder if you`re gay? we both are good hardworking kind people & we both love children.

mensexonly 		probable. It`s hard to adopt at all; Have you thought of a surrogate mother? BTW gay parents don`t make their children gay

charliegay 		I would think it would be easier for women to adopt for they can take either a male or a female child. a pair of male can only adopt male children. but(!) really comes down to courts!

charliegay 		It ought to be illegal. If you want to be gay, that`s 1 thing, but(!) to force your perversion (`lifestyle` I believe is PC euphemism) on children is despicable
