How does gay marriage effect your life?

As we all know the Prop 8 was denied in California allowing Gays to legally marry; There has been lots of controversy over this & I would like to know gay or straight whether you are for allowing gay marriage or against it & the reason for your answer as far as `How would it effect your life if it was legal`?

jimmygay 		It would affect me as much as all the other ridiculous & inevitable laws that has been passed in history. 1 thing I have learned is that there is nothing I can do about things like that, therefore, I worry about things I can change, ones I can`t, I just let it slide by & to each It`s own.

Talking about ridiculous laws passed is the health reform where the government takes over just like in communist countries. Can I do anything about it? Of course not, so, it does not bother me. Same with gay marriages. May they all live happily ever after

gopbol 		I`m all for it; If it were legal, I`d be out lot more money on wedding gifts as a lot of my friends are gay. That`s the only way it would affect me

gaykerk 		Ever since I was little girl I dreamed of joining military, I wanted to follow in my family footsteps & fight for my country`s freedom. However, when I went to swear in I was asked to sign a paper stating I would not engage in any form of homosexual behavior my heart dropped. Don`t ask Don`t tell is total b. s.
it`s more like don`t be gay & we won`t throw you in jail. I was engaged to marry my beautiful gf Rhianna & I knew I would never be happy fighting for a country that wouldn`t allow me to love

gaynudist 		It DOES affect my life & lives of future generations because it affects society as a whole when you want to re-define what marriage is; Traditionally, marriage has been a sacred institution between 1 husband & 1 wife, not a homosexual union. Marriage between a man & woman represents family unit, & a true family unit is important to promote a healthy, proper & wholesome civilization; I believe God intended only for men & women to be married. As such, I cannot & will not support legitimization of a union that I don`t think is right or natural. In my eyes, homosexuality is a sin & so gay marriage would have negative impact on society. It would rock our moral foundations to the core. As it is, morals in our social order are deteriorating rapidly & this would cause further detrimental damage

gaykerk 		this is difficult but(!) I am going to answer as a mother of a young child; I don`t see a problem with people who want to be in a gay relationship. to each his/her own in the privacy of their bedroom; however, marriage is public ritual to show commitment. & for a thousands of years It`s been between a man & a woman. & naturally a man & woman is the correct meeting of sex because it ensures the continuation of humanity; Now, supposedly people who are gay cannot help it & I can accept that. the problem arises when they want to go public & have rest of us accept it as normal. because It`s not normal, It`s a genetic malfunction. Now I have a young child & I do not want her thinking that 2 guys or 2 girls marrying is normal; I do not want her to think that if she dates a girl just because anything goes in society, that It`s normal; We have to draw line; we cannot give everyone rights or we could end our society eventually. We are already behind in birth rates & muslims will surpass us in this century eventually being the dominant religion in. the last thing we need is heterosexuals thinking same sex marriages are normal because then we will have all these normal people trying out gay relationships; we do what we see as a society; that`s my 2 cents

jimmygay 		I think gay Legal marriage would effect our youth & their moral ground! We live in world that is becoming more & more morally corupt. Of course I will get many thumbs down from ` You guessed it ! Immoral People! I really believe that marriage is between 1 woman & 1 Man! I would like my daughter not to have to face such immoral world, but(!) that is quickly not becoming the case. So it`s effect on my child then becomes my effect; We should ask why Gay`s Need
Marriage! That is rediculous to me, Marraige is clearly defined in the bible which they do not follow. So Why a need for it? Marriage is for the procreation of Children, which they clearly cannot have unassisted! Marriage is for physical union, which gays cannot partake, physically! How can 2 men join together other than the joining of anal canal? How can to woman join together!

To Marry definition is to join together! To mix or become one! Even modern dictionaries like to take the root word meaning out so that it is politically correct or offensive; Why do so many homosexual men take on feminine characteristics & so many lesbian woman take on male characteristics; I believe this is because of gender confusion, which will also affect our society. How many times have you seen a Man studied him closely to realize that he has breasts! She is butch lesbian attempting to take on the masculine role!




Not every girl has so correct yourself on this whole everyone trip you are one, Question if everyone fell off a cliff are u?

Gays Made this a Religious fight Moment they snatched a principle from the Bible & Quran to MARRY! They left out the part about it being between Man & Woman only. In Fact this is where the idea came up, why do they feel need to Marry! To Force Christians & Muslims to accept them as NORMAL! They have the right to live together, & do what they like, why do they need Marriage no-one has yet to answer that question?

I support gay rights; strongly. it has absolutely no effect on my life as a straight person if gays were allowed to marry. crazos say they are attacking the `traditional or nuclear` family & family `values` by allowing other people to practice their basic human rights to be with 1 that they want, but(!) really they are destroying families, because the children of gay parents can never have 2 happily married parents, because the rest of the world doesn`t allow them to.

gaynudist 		Im not going to state whether I am for or against it. I don`t involve my politics here. First off, it doesnt directly effect my life or anyones. Second, lot of people have a problem with it because it would not allow their churches to deny marrying gay couples & that would go directly against their religion. I just don`t think that It`s appropriate to beat anyone up verbally just because of their political beliefs; Whether for or against this issue. It`s personal & people should respect the beliefs of others either way
