What would happen if Middle Eastern country legalized gay marriage?

Not only decriminalize homosexuality but(!) legalize gay marriage? Would people be outraged, happy, or just not care? I`m curious because there`s a large rate of homosexuality in Middle Eastern countries. Especially in Saudi Arabia, I`ve found. the groups with highest rates of homosexuality is unmarried male youth (but much of this is due to the sex segregation laws). Mintee, Christianity doesn`t condemn homosexuals. It`s not illegal in Christian countries.

mensexonly 		I am sure you have seen people say they are upstanding religious people, however their actions are not matching their words. There are people who claim to be Christians but(!) act contrary to their words.

People are flawed no matter what there belief, what makes us different is God (Allah)

jimmygay 		Well, gay Marriage is still illegal in United States. only couple of states have done that. so don`t act like you guys are open minded & blah blah blah. but(!) if they do legalize it here in Saudi Arabia, I will shit on my country`s flag & leave somewhere else ; but(!) I doubt it`s gonna happen any time soon ; may be after 300 years from now

gaynudist 		Being as how prisons there often use Sodomy as form of punishment & men often kiss in greeting to 1 another I find it doubtful that they will pass such law

bobdilan 		I personally don`t think that any middle-eastern country would make such decision but(!) anyway let`s assume that 1 will. I would be like REALLY outraged (may be even hate this country) & I think the majority of the people will!
This goes against our religion & culture!

to confirm your assessment what do you define as `large rate of homosexuality` ?

christianity condemns homosexuality - but(!) since church & state are separate the church has no say on laws that are passed in democratic countries, where the politicians see an electoral impact into legalizing gay marriage or other statuses.

correct me if I am wrong : we are Sons of Adam & Eve, not of Adam & Gilbert !

i never know about this I no there is some kind of a hospital to help them. but(!) I think no 1 will be happy, I mean even here in canada or us, some ppl just will not take it & say It`s ok, I personally don`t care It`s not my life

torogay 		Just cause there is a high rate of something doesnt make it right.
There is high rate of rape, adultery, robber, murder in USA, does it make it right?
There is a high rate of pedophilia, the catholic church right now with so many priests molesting young boys (and in some cases girls). does this make it right?

In all three major faiths. Christianity, Judism & Islam. God condemns homosexual acts. it goes against very design of humans created in pairs; males & females to compliment each other & procreate.

If you are faithful person & love your God, then why do you want to do what he doesnt allow? You do your best to please your God. He will certainly not bless a marriage between same sexes; & if God went so far as to destroy a whole town due to their excesses in luedness, promiscuity, homosexual acts (ie: Sodom & Gamorah) then don`t you think he is still against it now? He doesnt just change his mind several thousands of years later. He will punish again just like he did then.

If you think all I said is a load of hoo ha!. then go read your bible or Quran; God ABSOLUTELY doesnt allow this; enough said.

Its just that muslims try to stay with Gods laws & actually empliment what God says; Where as; in some other faiths. especially in the west; YOu can marry, but(!) have adulterous relationships on the side. you can rape, murder, molest; & just come back to church the next day & ask Jesus to forgive your sins. & then go right now & repeat it. There is no incentive to stop
