At a gay wedding how do you determine which is groom & bride?

I don`t want to be rude so I want to kiss the bride; it may be awkward if I kiss the Groom since I`m a dude

i don`t know if you`re going to gay or lesbian wedding, but(!) either way, the idea that 1 person is the groom & 1 is the bride is ridiculous. It`s not a straight wedding, after all. it`s gay wedding. 2 grooms or 2 brides. just because someone is more butch or more femme does not make them a groom or a bride. they are still the gender that they are, so kissing either 1 is a compliment, not awkward because you`re `a dude; ` idea that there has to be a bride & groom is outdated

Ask, I doubt anyone will be offended. frequently in gay marriages 1 IS more feminine & 1 more masculine, but(!) truth be told it is an old fashioned theory that 1 HAS to be the groom & 1 the bride. Why can`t both be groom or bride?
