Could I as man be a bridesmaid & wear bridesmaid dress?

I am man & I would like to be in a wedding as bridesmaid. I am not gay & love women & I like to wear dresses I have worn dresses & skirts in past & would now love to be in wedding as a bridesmaid. I have no female friend that is getting married soon; however, I would still like opportunity to be a bridesmaid for someone! Any suggestions?

jimmygay 		You can be 1 of the bride`s attendants, but(!) you would wear a tux to match that of groomsmen.

Why? Because wearing dress would draw too much attention to you, at a time when attention & focus should remain on bride & groom;

If you care about bride & groom at all, you would not want to draw attention to yourself on their special day. If you care for them, you will allow focus to remain on them on their wedding day.

Couldn`t you just wear dress for a charity event, perhaps? Sometimes 1 hears of woman-less beauty pageants to raise money for charity

torogay 		A bridesmaid is someone close to the bride so if you have no female friends getting married it appears you will just have to wait. If you are desperate perhaps you could state your desires on craigslist or newspaper & see if anyone accommodates
