Is this a safe anal lube substitute?

I was in a gay chat room, & person on there told me that he uses hair conditioner as a substitute anal lube. Is that safe? I want to use something just for anal play, I`m not having sex, just for masturbation. Would it be safe for me to use hair conditioner?

It is safe? Idk but(!) I would never try it because It`s sounds really unsafe to me;
and don`t listen to everything people say on the internet. Try to do some research I guess it depends on the products you use?

i`m not a chemist, but(!) read back of the bottle & see whats in it; do you really want that stuff on the inner tissues of your bum? just spend 8 bucks & get some astroglide or even ky liquid. these at least won`t irritate the inner area with their compositions; if your not having sex & only playing when masturbation, get regular ky gel. that is what we use in the hospital if needed.

I`ve tried various lubes; found astroglide to work best for me; their new 1 is more silicone like & I`m loving it; when I first started with anal sex, I used a show gel as we only did that in the shower; it works, but(!) can burn depending on brand

Let`s put it this way. Would you eat food that you weren`t sure of, that could affect your health. ?
Think of basic algebra. `X` is the unknown. !
And why wold you want to even consider `alternatives / substitutions` when there are products specifically designed for sexual use & pleasure. ?
Or aren`t you OLD ENOUGH to purchase sane. ? If that`s case, why are you even in HERE. ?

probably not good idea since It`s full of chemicals. although the rectum`s purpose is not to absorb, there are still many many blood vessels which, if ruptured, could allow for chemicals to get into your system. Also, if some somehow gets up into your colon, it`ll be absorbed into your bloodstream for sure. SO, bad idea. I`ve actually used soap before; nothing happened but(!) I wouldn`t recommend it. If you`re desperate, may be use vegetable oil? lol
