do gay men naturally have the compulsion to penetrate men?

im just wondering if gay men can see a man & have the natural compulsion to penetrate like hetero-sexual male has toward females. & could this possibly be misplaced natural compulsion to reproduce [caused but(!) whatever childhood trauma/physiological upset resulting in deviation from sexuality we were born to practice]? I know not all gay men participate in anal intercourse but(!) I was just wondering if those that `give` & `receive` literally crave it or it is practiced as a substitute for Traditional sex, in way `working with what they`ve got` as an alternative.
by the way, I`m a bisexual female & I am in no way homophobic or self hating, I just acknowledge that feelings & cravings aren`t natural & there`s no shame in that. life just IS what it is, there`s no reason to sugar coat it or encourage an acceptance of something that isn`t natural no matter what excuse a lot of people give - born that way, etc because It`s ridiculous, no 1 is BORN gay. there is trauma, some kind of physical or emotional trauma; I was molested by my father as child & my mind disassociated it ALL to protect itself. I wouldn`t even know had my mother not saved the court transcripts, etc. So no gay or bisexual can really say nothing happened because the mind is capable of repressing, no matter how wonderful your family - you never really know whats in someones heart & what there intentions are. Most of us only show what we want people to see, the rest - the dark, sick, beautiful etc. is mystery. I didn`t say we were all raped as children, that`s ignorant. my implication was that a completely safe, loving, traditional, emotionally & physically healthy childhood doesn`t breed homosexuality. When certain things are upset or absent during our formative years, problems can present themselves; & I don`t hate myself, but(!) why should I have pride for being into girls? - that`s retarded, It`s just sex - It`s not who I am.

torogay 		there are guys who are gay who aren`t into anal. or even any kind of sex: they just like or identify or get along with guys & aren`t on the same planet as girls.

as far as being born gay or something happening to us that makes us gay. I`ll share my story if you promise not to tell anyone else (!). nobuddy ever did anything to me, or showed me pics or told me about gay sex or anything. but(!) when I was real little kid (I`m talking like 8 when I didn`t know anything about any kind of sex, that girls were different than boys or anything) it got into my head that it would be fun if 1 guy put his `thing` in another guy; So there: where did that idea come from. can you say I wasn`t born gay or that gay isn`t natural? So idea was there from that age & it became sort of a fixation. I thought about it all the time even at that age. jimmygay 		I am bisexual male & would go along with your theory of `working with what you`ve got` to be honest. I`ve tried it once & hated it but(!) I can enjoy cuddling in bed with & jacking off other blokes (although currently most of my thoughts revolve around a woman);

I do believe that gay people are born gay, but(!) I don`t believe that anal sex is necessarily part & parcel of being a gay male: I think that`s a preference which some men enjoy & some do not.

I think that your theory of anal sex evolving from reproductive urge is interesting, although my own psyche tells me that it is a form of dominance, which is 1 reason I resent it; Particularly I resent those gay males that give it but(!) won`t take it.

I had no significant trauma as a child - though some bullying took place. Mostly I found my peers were just very closed minded & gay taunts at that age probably encouraged me to deliberately do things they disapproved of once I hit adulthood

serenity 		Listen, just bcoz you were traumatized as a child doesn`t mean everyone is like you. & yeah, in my case, I do have that compulsion naturally; As for anal sex, it`s both craving it & working with what we`ve got; Keep in mind that men have prostate located right in front of anus, that`s why anal sex feels good to men.

and FYI, I was never molested in my life, never got raped, & my family was always there for me ( this is for the ppl who would say `u were missing father figure`) yet I`ve been like this ever since I was in grade 1. I remember we had a `sports` session every Friday & so boys would play soccer & girls would race, & I used to always go racing with the girls & some other girly boys even though m not feminine; I even liked a boy in my first grade but(!) it was innocent love

twinklover 		Do you understand how ridiculous that sounds. `I am bisexual because I was molested - so everyone who is bisexual or gay had something bad in their life happen & that is why they are that way`. Your projecting your own experiences & assigning them to everyone else, therefore your whole theory is biased & inaccurate. & who are you to decide what is natural & what is not.
Next time make sure you have some actual unbiased evidence to back yourself up.

edit - To answer your first question - Yes it is natural for gay man to want to penetrate another man. It is natural for a man who is in love with another man to be intimate with his partner, just as natural as it is for a man & woman. People don`t have the compulsion to have sex to reproduce, that is for sure not the reason why most young adults have sex, so to say that compulsion to have anal sex is unnatural just because the end product isn`t a child is completely ridiculous

jimmygay 		You said it yourself `i just acknowledge that the feelings & cravings aren`t natural & there`s no shame in that; ` I don`t think hetero-sexual men have a natural/urge craving to penetrate women. Some would argue, they have the natural urge to penetrate anything. Reality is, biology is only part of our behavior; Like women, both hetero-sexual & gay men get aroused. Now, for it being replacement or `working with what you have`. Men have a prostrate gland, which can provide pleasure to both hetero-sexual & gay men-- so, yes they work with what they have to get pleasure, just like every other human in this planet. When it comes to penetration in all couples, it`s a matter of intimacy & sexual pleasure. Now, for the sexual trauma & the origin of homosexuality/bisexuality. I think gender like culture (behavior, etc) is learned & is influenced by your relative society. Just cause we explain homosexuality by saying it`s is consequence of family trauma doesn`t mean it is true. Keep asking questions though, it is healthy
