Open Question

Is he gay or are they lying?

So, I`m out with this girl I`ve been dating for a while now; We`re not in a relationship & I`ve been trying to determine whether to take the next step or not.

Just recently, I went out with a group of her & her friends. 1 of guys asked her to dance & she asked for my permission: I was cool with it. No big deal.

So I go outside with a friend, we come back in & she`s disappeared from the dance floor. I`m wandering around this club, checking it out, since I`d never been there before & I spot her & this guy sitting side-by-side. I walk away, go back to get her a few minutes later & I spot this guy kissing her.

I confront her, she gets all teary & cries, telling me that it was him who made the move.

A day later, she tells me that guy wanted to send me his apologies because apparently he is gay & he could understand why I was upset.

But, does this make sense at all. gay guy, straight girl. Girl doesn`t make first move, guy does. Can he really be gay or just confused? He seemed pretty aggressive to get her on the dance floor & then out of sight;
