Being a masculine gay male, sucks to be the minority of the population?

I know the bulk of the gay community are the feminine gays, especially in gay clubs where 90% of the guys are the flamer `HEY GURL HEY` type of people; Nothing wrong with that, but(!) I don`t connect with that, I`m more of just a regular college kid; I feel like finding a masculine gay is gonna be rare & I`ll be stuck with flamers the rest of my life; It seems since they are the majority, they love to make fun of masculine guys for being too much of man, & enjoying boy stuff like sports, rock music, video games, etc;

To the other masculine gays, how do you generally feel about being gay where you live? Do you have friends with any other masculine gays, or mainly feminine gays. Do they make fun of you for being masculine?

gaynudist 		im the same way. I`m just laid back person who likes being a guy. & at my college it seems like all there is are & I call them `fairy queers`. & I`m bisexual so if I wanted a girl id get one. but(!) I like masculine type guys & there just really arent any around where I live; but(!) online there`s tons everywhere I don`t live lol

gaynudist 		Not really sure where you are from or where you get your information, but(!) it is pretty much all wrong. Most gay guys are masculine,or on the masculine side. Fem guys are definitely a minority, in clubs or anywhere else; may be you notice them more because they are more obvious or visible. Don`t worry, there are plenty of us jocky guys out there, just go to any gym,lol. I have friends that are both masc & fem. I think my fem friends are adorable. I choose friends based on personality, not masc/fem traits.
I`ve never seen bunch of sissyboys picking on manly man,lol. No 1 picks on me because I lift weights or play sports. No 1 makes fun of me because I`m masculine & I don`t make fun of anyone who`s fem; Neither should you. They are ones who usually get bashed & picked on. If anything, they need our protection & support; They take enough shit from everybody else

mensexonly 		Likewise. However, I do not believe we represent minority within minority. effeminate gay guys are the outnumbered ones.

I do not connect much with effeminate either; straight guys comprise all of my friends; It`s damn near impossible to know if I`m friends with another masc gay, but(!) I try to snuff them out;

Make friends with straights. It`s less of a hassle, & you share more things in common

torogay 		Maybe you just haven`t noticed more masculine gay men because they appear straight to you because of common stereotype;

If you are looking to be with guy like you start talking to more extravagant gays & ask them if they know anyone.

If you want to be with more girly type of man then I would think they would rather have a macho kind of bf rather than someone who is like them

serenity 		i feel ya dude. but that fact is that there are actually a lot of us. you just don`t realize because they blend in & you think they`re straight. try online dating maybe? there are plenty of masc. guys out there. good luck

torogay 		You`re propagating a stereotype. the facts do no support what you say. There are more `str8` gays than there are `feminine` gays. I do not know where you are hanging out but(!) that seems to be the problem for you. Either that or you just see life way you want to & not way it really is; Don`t worry, psychosis is quite common in gay community
