torogay 		I`d say no, but(!) that`s only because I`m picturing stereotypical jocks as your friends; It really comes down to if you think they can handle it & truly except you as you are.

If you`re captain I`m guessing you probably really good & you probably love your sport; If these guys can`t accept you as you are, then It`s probably best to say nothing. Would suck if they ended up ruining something you love to do.

I think It`s cool you want to tell them, but(!) in all truth It`s not something that is required on your part. In end, It`s your business
