Being gay & illegal in the caribbean but(!) wish to travel to the USA,MY HOME LAND ?

I live in the Caribbean & I am presently seeing an illegal immigrant from the United States, we are both a happily gay couple & the reason why he is illegal because It`s very hard for him to get visa or resident, what should we do we have no rights, usa or in the Caribbean ?I presently have good job here & It`s easier to live in Caribbean because I am already well established. We would love to get married but(!) because of restriction on our sexuality we are unable to travel together ;

gaymentop 		Just don`t tell anyone when you are travelling together. It is not like they have scanners to tell who is gay & who is not.
I agree with above poster about seeking joint residency somewhere else like Canada. Give up on the USA as it is light years behind everyone else in recognising same sex relationships; the discrimination is compounded in immigration issues. Frankly you have no hope of moving to the USA.
Try New Zealand, Canada or the UK?

torogay 		i would check out your resources better; You are only restricted if you choose to be. How is he illegal other than being gay? If it is his citizen status, get it changed; You don`t have to make your sexuality the main issue as to why you can`t do anything; There are ways of getting around restrictions, laws & barriers. There are ways to legally put certain things in place for both of your benefits. First, & foremost get your partner legal or at least identified on paper. Your being all ready established is a step in 1 direction as he can use you as a reference. Don`t elude to your relationship other than good friends as not to put your status in jeopardy. As far as I see it, all you need to do, is actually start doing something to get him on the `map`
