Best travel destination for gay couple?

My partner & I would like to know where is the best place to trave to for vacation that is gay friendly & where we can just relax & be ourselves? I guess I should limit it to the continental US. Thanks again to everyone for the suggestions. keep em commin`

gopbol 		Provincetown, MA is an awesome vacation spot; I went there last summer. Pride flags were everywhere. gay & lesbian couples openly holding hands while walking around, & locals don`t think anything of it. It`s the `norm` there, which is very cool

gaynudist 		Call it homestate pride-but I found my gay-feet in Gayborhood in Philadelphia Pennsylvania; It is a very gritty rough destination by the standards of your other options-but gay community is very welcoming & friendly there-accomodation is relativly cheap for most cities-and bar & clubs scene is quite comparable!

serenity 		Hmmm. I`d say Hawaii, Florida, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, or somewhere like that, but(!) I don`t know if they`re gay-friendly; Northern California is gay-friendly, but(!) their beaches suck. Perhaps Monterey Beach in Northern California? Do some research online

gopbol 		There are alot of great destinations in the U; S. like Provincetown, Key West & Fire Island. Don`t forget Canada either. There are also others around world; I have read that South Aferica is good gay vacation destination; There are also many in Europe. Amsterdam is always good; Italy can be nice, but(!) you should stick to the bigger cities & further north; Rome has rapidly growing gay community; There alot of gay travel websites as well as travel guides; Most of the major travel guides have a gay section in them as well
