What cruise line would be best for a gay masc couple looking to have a relaxing, fun time without problems?

I am trying to book a cruise for my significant other & I, but(!) we aren`t usually into typical `gay` scene. We are hesitant on going on an all gay cruise, so I am trying to figure out what other cruise lines would be best without having to worry about being harrassed or getting looks because we are gay. We do not kiss or do anything else in public so I do not see an issue, but(!) it would be nice to know an opinion on what cruise lines are more accepting.

gaykerk 		I have been on many cruises on several cruise lines & have seen men & women traveling together who some would wonder if they were a couple; but(!) I have never seen anyone get rude with these people or treat them anything other than way everyone else is treated. So just select a good cruise line like Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity, or Royal, Caribbean; You will be just fine

serenity 		Hey J Mar; My suggestion would be Royal Caribbean. On my last cruise we met up with a couple & they were the funnest 2 guys ever. & I do know that the crew on Royal Caribbean is awesome & made them feel like they were no different, & why did they do this because there is no difference. WE are all people & should be able to have same kind of fun without feeling left out; I know they were treated very kindly got their pictures taken together on formal night & what not. Just normal people. I would even wager that some of crew would be same sex oriented! Which ever cruise line you choose I hope you have a great time & just have fun with the 1 you love, there is something truly romantic & enticing about a cruise. Bon Voyage!

serenity 		My partner & I have been on Royal Caribbean & Princess (Tahitian Princess). We were treated wonderfully by both the crew & other passengers & always met other gay couples on every cruise. On Royal Caribbean ship (Rhapsody of the Seas), we met several crew members who were `family` & treated us very well - bottles of wine & champagne sent to our cabin. Seating in dining room is `crap shoot`. We only had 1 bad experience where we were with a table of folks who were travelling together & a couple of older men were a bit homophobic - but(!) their wives weren`t. head waiter had no problem moving us to another table, which ended up being fine; 1 of the best places to do research is on cruisecritic. com. Click on `Boards` near top & just start researching; People start threads for a particular cruise they are going on & you can get some great information. If you scroll down the page bit, there is section called `Special Interest Cruising` with `Gay and Lesbian Cruisers` section. We love going on cruises & are hesitant about going on an all-gay cruise like RSVP; Although we have friends who have gone on several & love it; We also try to get a balcony cabin at back of the ship. balconies are usually deeper & views are much better because you can see all around; Happy cruising!

serenity 		Try Holland America; It is an older crowd; Really good service & great food. For a few extra bucks you can dine in `Pinnacle Grill` which offers the best food anywhere & you don`t have to share a table with bunch of other couples. My wife & I don`t like sitting in dining room with a bunch of strangers at the table, so we usually get room service for dinner. Holland America offers the full dinner menu as room service so you don`t miss out on anything by doing it that way & there is no extra charge. I think people are pretty accepting these days; no 1 appreciates demonstrative behavior-gay or otherwise. a lot of women I know would rather share a conversation with gay guy than with a straight guy

gaynudist 		ummm, go on gay cruise & then You could jest close You are eyes, ud be at the top of the hill, unlike a regular cruise, no offense but(!) ud be at the bottom
