Go to Rome, or go on a gay cruise?

I will have a little extra money this coming spring, & since my partner & I love to travel, I wanted to do something interesting.

We do self-guided land trip thing all the time. We`ve been to Central & South America, & all over the U; S; I kind of want to do something different this time;

I have narrowed it down. Rome, Italy (would be our first trip to Europe) or a gay cruise (would be our first cruise).

I keep seeing advertisements for gay cruises online, & I think that would be fun. the problem is, I am getting mixed reviews from people about them; Some people say that they are absolutely worthless for couples. that they are mostly singles-oriented with lots of sexual debauchery (LOL); Some people say that they are fine for couples because of all the activities.

I don`t know what to do. & I really don`t know what to think.

Rome would be fun, but(!) honestly it wouldn`t be very different than other trips we have taken. We fly in, drive around & see the sights, & fly out.

A gay cruise would be different. but(!) I don`t want to go if we are going to be the only COUPLE amongst a bunch of singles (we don`t fool around with other men, so that is out of the question).

What would you do? Has anyone ever been on gay cruise? Thoughts? Preferences? NJ: Whadda you look like? may be I will take him on the cruise & you to Rome; LOL
