In Europe (specifically Italy), which ear is `gay` ear for piercing?

In U. S. I think right ear is gay one, but(!) is this true in Italy? If Italian is anything like Spanish, then the words for straight & right are same (`derecho` in Spanish); It would seem to me that Europeans would pierce their left ear to denote gayness. Or may be this rule just plain doesn`t exist there?

I`d like to know because my roommate is from Italy & he`s awfully cute! I need some help figuring him out.

gaynudist 		lmfao I have both pierced & i`m gay not bisexual, the place of someones ear ring is no indicator of someones sexuality, what if someone gets their ear pieced before they came out as gay but(!) generally speaking yea the right ear is the gay ear
